The blind side sack is one of the most dangerous plays in football, and as the NFL continues to find ways to protect its quarterbacks at whatever cost, their most recent potential rule change has got to be the most ludicrous since the inception of the extra point.
According to sources just as legitimate as ESPN’s, Roger Goodell will be using a team of engineers based in India to create jerseys with rear view mirrors. These jerseys will be worn by all NFL quarterbacks in order to protect them from blind side sacks.
Von Miller racing at your heels? Not a problem anymore!
“We believe the rear view mirror will add a level of protection and legitimacy to the game like never before,” Roger Goodell may or may have not said. “The league’s biggest assets are the quarterbacks. And all of our quarterbacks are important to us, expect for Tom Brady. I will probably crack his mirror in half when it gets shipped here.”
